Project "SuSe" has new coordinator

There are many good reasons for living in Waldeck-Frankenberg - here a new home can become a home or an old home can become a new home. Whether for returnees or those who have moved here, the district's network "SuSe - Spiel- und Standbein ermöglichen" helps people to find their feet, make arriving easier and put down roots more quickly. A particularly important feel-good factor here is contact with like-minded people, and this is precisely what "SuSe" aims to provide. The district-wide network, based at the district's village and regional development service, offers people the opportunity to make contacts and share common interests.

Now "SuSe" has been given a new project coordinator, Ms Anneke Heine is available as contact person with immediate effect. With her, the existing structures are to be intensified and expanded. Anneke Heine belongs to the group of people who are the target group of the network: As a native of Goddelsheim, she has returned to Waldeck-Frankenberg after eight years away from home. "I am not alone in this - many of my family and friends are also drawn back here at the moment, or have moved here for the first time," she says.

There are many reasons for returning home - family, jobs, a desire for nature... Above all, the combination of good career opportunities and rural surroundings as well as the trend towards urban migration attracts many to the countryside and to Waldeck-Frankenberg. "Of course, it helps if you are supported and if there is a contact point you can fall back on," says Heine. "I very much hope that this will be possible in the near future within the network, despite the existing contact restrictions."

The network is growing steadily and yet the project is still far from reaching its goal. It thrives on creative ideas and like-minded people who want to get involved. "SuSe" is therefore happy to welcome anyone who wants to become part of the network. More information is available on the website www.das-gute-leben.de, in the Facebook group "New in the district?
