District seeks furnished accommodation for refugees

Refugees are to be supported with appropriate accommodation for the time after their arrival in Waldeck-Frankenberg. Therefore, the district is currently looking for furnished rooms, flats or other suitable premises. Interested property owners are asked to contact the district.

It is the task of the district to support refugees who have recently arrived in Waldeck-Frankenberg in their search for accommodation. If possible, they are looking for furnished accommodation of a normal standard, including electrical appliances. The tenancy does not necessarily have to be for an indefinite period, but can also be limited in time.

The rent and ancillary costs of the accommodation are paid by the Waldeck-Frankenberg district for the asylum seekers. Social law regulates the assumption of an appropriate rent. In particular, the market rent for simple living space is decisive for this. Heating and operating costs are also covered if the asylum seekers receive public benefits to secure their livelihood. Electricity is paid for by the residents themselves. If desired, the incidental costs and rent can also be paid directly by the district to the landlord.

Interested property owners are requested to contact the Waldeck-Frankenberg district preferably by e-mail to sachbearbeitung.asyl@lkwafkb.de. The e-mail should contain the landlord's personal contact details and information about the location and size as well as the layout of the flat. After reviewing the offers received, the district will get back to you regarding suitable properties.
