First district council meeting of the year on 14 February in Korbach

The first meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg District Council this year will take place on Monday, 14 February, starting at 2 p.m. in the town hall in Korbach. District Council Chairman Rainer Hesse cordially invites all interested parties to the meeting.

The discussion and resolution of the 2022 budget as well as the approval of the boundary change agreement for the merger of the municipalities of Allendorf (Eder) and Bromskirchen are only two of the topics that the deputies will decide on during the public session. In addition, the district committee will give a verbal report on the infection situation. An application by the FDP parliamentary group deals with hygiene articles in girls' toilets, and there is a briefing on the approval of unbudgeted expenditure in the sub-result budget 050 Basic provision and assistance according to SGB XII in the financial year 2021.

The public meeting will take place in the Korbach town hall, as it is large enough and suitable to be able to comply with the current safety regulations surrounding the coronavirus. There are also a number of seats available for the public; interested parties are asked to register in advance by calling 05631 954 325 or emailing kreisorgane@lkwafkb.de. It should be noted that, according to the hygiene concept, the 2G rule applies to guests - only persons who have recovered or have been vaccinated may attend. Guests will be collected from the main entrance shortly before the meeting begins. Furthermore, participation in the session is only possible with a medical mouth-nose mask.
