Next district council meeting takes place on 26 September in Volkmarsen

The next meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg District Council will take place on Monday, 26 September at 2 p.m. in the Nordhessenhalle in Volkmarsen. The Chairman of the District Council, Rainer Hesse, cordially invites all interested parties to attend.

The agenda includes the current status of the planning for a possible reactivation of the Upper Eder Valley Railway and the Edersee Railway to Hemfurth, the granting of a subsidy to the Climate Neutral Waldeck-Frankenberg Association and an application for a cooperation offer to the municipalities for the recruitment of junior staff for municipal administration. Furthermore, the MPs will discuss a guideline for the preparation of development plans for the sustainable and environmentally friendly construction of open-space photovoltaic plants and will continue to deal with a strategy for the establishment of the Local Health Conference in Waldeck-Frankenberg.

The annual reports of the patient advocates of the hospitals in Waldeck-Frankenberg will also be on the agenda of the meeting. In addition, a resolution will be passed on the re-election of the First District Councillor Karl-Friedrich Frese in a secret ballot and the approval of a property transaction of the Waldeckische Domanialverwaltung will be discussed. Finally, the report on the implementation of the 2022 budget for the second quarter will be presented to the district council and it will be informed about the approval of unbudgeted expenses.

The public meeting of the 71 members of the district parliament will take place in the Volkmarser Nordhessenhalle, as the district parliament meeting room in the district hall is currently not available for this purpose.
