District council meets next on 29 April
On 29 April, the 71 members of the district council will meet for their second session of the year. It will take place as usual in the district hall in Korbach from 2 pm. District council chairman Rainer Hesse cordially invites all interested parties to attend the public meeting; registration is not required.
The agenda comprises nine items, including question time and a topical debate. A major question deals with cyber security, while a motion deals with the topic of "Climate protection through building with wood". The Waldeck-Frankenberg district's climate protection concept will also be presented and the budget statutes and budget planning for 2024 are to be amended. Two further items on the topic of "Schools and education" promise to be an interesting meeting: school development planning for 2023 - 2027 and a new version of the statutes on the formation of school districts for primary schools in the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg. The district council meeting on 29 April will end with "Miscellaneous", where citizens interested in the work of the Waldeck-Frankenberg parliament are, as always, welcome to attend.
