Financial Month February: Events on the topic of money

February's programme of events organised by the specialist service for women and equal opportunities in the district of Waldeck Frankenberg is all about "Finance". A total of five events are on offer, providing an insight into different financial investments and helpful tips for everyday life.

The month begins on 5 February with the information event "All about money" in Bad Arolsen. A debt counsellor will show participants current debt traps and give tips on monthly budget planning.

On 15 February, anyone interested can register online for the event "Investment for women - Simple. Start - steps along the way" and find out about asset structures and investments from the comfort of their own home.

On 20 February, the online event "Investments explained transparently and understandably" is on the agenda. The speaker will show participants the different types of investment, from call money and time deposits to shares, investment funds and exchange-traded funds through to precious metals such as gold and silver. They will also find out for whom which form of investment is best suited and what advantages and disadvantages the different forms have.

Not only investing money, but also changing something for the better: this is what sustainable investment is all about. Its importance has increased significantly in recent years and there are a large number of offers that focus on positive changes to the climate, water supply, food security and much more. On 22 February, the online event "For a better future: investing money sustainably" will focus on precisely this topic.

At the end of the month, the online event "Pensions up to date" will take place on 27 February. In this workshop, the speaker will provide an overview of the pension system in Germany, which goes far beyond the statutory pension. Topics include the three layers of old-age provision, tax-saving options and how employer and state subsidies can be optimally utilised.

Registration is required for the various events. Further information and the link to registration can be found here.
