Hessencampus invites you to the district hall on 18 April

The Hessencampus Waldeck-Frankenberg invites you to a lecture evening on Thursday, 18 April 2024, starting at 7 pm, at the Kreishaus am Südring 2 in Korbach. The topic of the event is "The Great Transformation - Challenges and Opportunities of Climate Change". All citizens interested in the topic are invited. Registration is required for the free event. The speaker will be Prof Dr Hans-Jürgen Burchhardt from the University of Kassel.

The pandemic seems to be over, but the next crisis is already knocking on the door: climate change. While politicians and society are in crisis mode, looking for quick answers and small solutions, everyone seems to be missing the fact that we are at the beginning of a global change that will affect all areas of our lives. A broader view not only allows us to recognise trends and new dangers more accurately. It also helps to drive forward intelligent responses and fresh ideas. Crises and changes are always a threat and a challenge, but they also open up new opportunities. The lecture evening will provide an overview.

For better planning, please register by 12 April 2024. If you have any questions about the event or the Hessencampus, please contact Melanie Sander on 05631 954-2134 or by email at melanie.sander@lkwafkb.de.
