Taking over child day care: Information event on 11 March

Anyone who would like to qualify as a childminder but does not yet have enough information about the tasks of a childminder can do so on 11 March 2025 in Volkmarsen. From 6.30 p.m., the town of Volkmarsen will be hosting an information event on the topic of childcare in the multifunctional room of the town hall at Steinweg 29. Registration is not required, all interested parties are cordially invited to the event.

Monika Padberg-Koert from the Child Day Care Department in the Youth Service of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district will be available as a speaker on this evening. She will provide information about the field of child day care and explain the legal basis, personal requirements and the content of the qualification courses. The next such course starts in September 2025.

Child day care has a long tradition alongside day care centres in Hesse as an established and high-quality childcare service.
