Violence against children and young people

  • Performance specification

Children and young people who are victims of abuse, neglect or maltreatment are in urgent need of protection and help. Those who are "close by" can help most effectively. They are often the only ones who can pass on information and thus set help processes in motion.

If you notice signs of such things in your neighbourhood, in your circle of acquaintances or even in your relatives, please seek direct conversation and let others know that you are concerned or that you cannot and will not accept certain actions.

If you feel that directly addressing the guardians does not lead to an improvement in the child's situation, please contact the authorities immediately. Your anonymity will be preserved.

  • Legal basis

Who do I need to contact?

Please contact the youth welfare office of your district or independent city or, if you feel that there is a great danger, any police station.
