Violence against children and young people

  • Performance specification

Children and young people who are victims of maltreatment, neglect or abuse urgently need protection and help. Those who are "close by" can help most effectively. They are often the only ones who can pass on information and thus initiate help processes.

If you notice signs of such things in your neighbourhood, among your friends or relatives, please seek a direct conversation and let others know that you are worried or that you cannot and will not accept certain actions.

If you have the feeling that a direct approach to the legal guardians will not lead to an improvement in the child's situation, please contact the authorities immediately. Your anonymity will be preserved.

  • Legal basis

Who do I need to contact?

Please contact the youth welfare office of your district or independent city or, if you feel that there is a great danger, any police station.
