Parental contribution for child day care (setting and payment)
Performance specification
The care of children in day care is mostly a public youth welfare service. This means that the youth welfare office of the district or city is the contact for both the legal guardians and the childminders and is responsible, among other things, for arranging a place for the child.
For the care of a child in day care, parents pay a monthly fee to the responsible youth welfare office.
Process flow
If you, as the legal guardian, would like a place with a childminder for your child, please contact the responsible youth welfare office in your district or city. The Youth Welfare Office will help you find a suitable place. The Youth Welfare Office sets a monthly fee for the care of the child. The amount of the parental contribution is usually based on the amount of care provided. As parents, you pay the set amount to the Youth Welfare Office.
