Assumption of day care centre fees
Performance specification
Parents who, due to their income, cannot pay the cost contribution for a day nursery, kindergarten or after-school care place, or cannot pay it in full, have the option of applying to have the costs paid, exempted or reduced.
Process flow
You have several options for submitting your application:
- Apply online
- by post: District of Waldeck-Frankenberg, Youth Service, Südring 2, 34497 Korbach or District of Waldeck-Frankenberg, Youth Service, Bahnhofstraße 8-14, 35066 Frankenberg
- If you wish to submit the application in person, please make an appointment by telephone or by e-mail with the person in charge.
Which documents are required?
The following documents are required:
- Certificate of the amount of the contributions from the child day care facility
- Proof of the family's total income (earnings statements for the last 3 months, benefit statements from the Federal Employment Agency, the Job Centre or the Social Welfare Office, pension statements, child benefit statements, housing benefit statements, etc.).
- Proof of maintenance payments (possibly childcare costs, child supplement)
- Rental contract / rental certificate - in the case of homeowners, proof of interest and redemption payments, homeowners' insurance, proof of ancillary costs (property tax, water, sewer, rubbish)
- Evidence of claimed charges, e.g. insurance (household contents and liability), evidence of Riester pension (policy)".
