Girls'Day 2024

Girls'Day 2024 on 25 April

Discover, explore, create: Girls and women are still underrepresented in many professions. To promote diversity in the world of work, the district is therefore once again taking part in the nationwide Girls' Day this year. This year, the focus is on environmental and climate protection - and the importance of innovative future technologies.

Experiment and understand

The Girls' Day participants can therefore experiment for themselves with the district's climate kits. With relatively simple set-ups, the schoolgirls can, for example, simulate the acidification of the oceans and thus better understand it. This can awaken their technical and scientific interest in climate-related topics. They will also learn a lot about sustainable energy generation, intelligent energy management systems and efficient future technologies - but in a playful way and with plenty of opportunities to carry out experiments themselves.
