School in Rosenthal reopens from 26 April

Since the number of infections in the town of Rosenthal in particular has been relatively high in recent weeks, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg, together with the town of Rosenthal, had ordered further restrictions. These will be lifted again as of next week.

As a precautionary measure, the day care centre and the primary school were closed for another week after the Easter holidays. Previously, there had been an increase in infections in this context. In the meantime, however, the infection figures are stable and slightly declining, so that no further restrictions are necessary for the time being. Currently, the city has 39 active cases.

The Nicolaus-Hilgermann-Schule will therefore be allowed to reopen on 26 April under the current regulations. The day-care centre "Pusteblume" is also allowed to reopen - however, according to the requirements of the state of Hesse, operations are currently to be reduced to a minimum. The state has not issued a ban on entering the day-care centres; childcare services are only to be used if urgently necessary.
