School in Rosenthal reopened from 26 April

As the infection figures in the town of Rosenthal in particular have been relatively high in recent weeks, the Waldeck-Frankenberg district, together with the town of Rosenthal, had ordered further restrictions. These will be lifted again from the coming week.

As a precautionary measure, the daycare center and the elementary school had been closed for another week after the Easter vacations for safety reasons. Previously, there had been an increase in infections in this context. In the meantime, however, the infection figures are stable and slightly declining, so that no further restrictions are necessary for the time being. Currently, the city has 39 active cases.

The Nicolaus-Hilgermann-School may therefore reopen from April 26th under the currently applicable regulations. The daycare center "Pusteblume" is also allowed to reopen - however, the operation here is also to be reduced to a minimum according to the specifications of the state of Hesse. The state has not issued a ban on entering the daycare centers; childcare services should only be used if it is urgently necessary.
