Last first vaccination possible at the vaccination centre on 6 September

The vaccination centre in Korbach has been open since February. Since then, the district has vaccinated around 116,500 doses. Now, the state of Hesse announced last month that all vaccination centres in Hesse will cease operations from October. Thus, the vaccination centre in Korbach will also be open for the last time on 27 September 2021.

Anyone who is at least 12 years old and would like to receive a vaccination can still get it on 4 and 6 September at the vaccination centre in Korbach without an appointment. After that, only second vaccinations or vaccinations for convalescents will be possible due to the necessary distance. "Every vaccinated person makes an important contribution to society," explained District Administrator Dr Reinhard Kubat. "For this reason, it is important that the opportunity to receive a vaccination at the Korbach Vaccination Centre is also used." Vaccines from BionTech & Pfizer or, on request, from Johnson & Johnson are offered at the centre.

Since last week, children and adolescents over the age of 12 can now also be vaccinated against Corona at the vaccination centre. Many parents are therefore currently asking themselves whether they should have their children vaccinated against COVID-19. In order to support this decision, another consultation day for parents will take place at the Korbach vaccination centre on 4 September. Parents, children over the age of twelve and adolescents can come to the centre from 8.30 a.m. to 3 p.m., find out about vaccination, get medical advice and, if they wish, get vaccinated. No prior registration is necessary. The only thing to note is that if children and adolescents under the age of 18 are to be vaccinated, a person with parental authority must be present at the vaccination.

The information and medical history forms for the mRNA vaccine can be downloaded online at www.landkreis-waldeck-frankenberg/impfenohnetermin. If possible, please bring your health insurance card, identity card and yellow vaccination card with you to the vaccination so that the vaccination can be entered there. Further information is also available via the hotline of the vaccination centre under Tel. 05631 573 08 89.
