Telephone consultation hours of the self-help centre in February

On 23 and 26 February, interested people can talk to self-help experts on the phone about various topics.

In times of the Corona pandemic, personal exchange is severely limited. In order to make this possible nevertheless, the self-help contact point of the district is starting a telephone campaign where interested people can exchange information with self-help experts by telephone on 23 and 26 February - on very different topics. Because. In this difficult and for many stressful time, contact with a self-help group can offer relief.

"Even if most groups cannot meet at the moment, telephone or digital contact can also be an important support," say Heike Eschler and Kristin Schmidt-Momberg from the self-help contact point of the district. "Especially during this special time with its high stresses, it is worthwhile to engage with the topic of group-based self-help and contact like-minded people."

On Tuesday, 23 February, the following self-help groups from Waldeck-Frankenberg will therefore be available for telephone counselling from 4 to 6 pm:

On Friday, 26 February, the following self-help groups from the district will be available for exchange on the phone from 10 am to 12 pm:

With this telephone campaign, the self-help contact point of the district would like to promote active exchange - also in Corona times. Basically, it supports self-help groups in Waldeck-Frankenberg in finding rooms, organising expert lectures, applying for funding or creating print products. However, the new start-ups are also important and are to be supported by the central contact point. The self-help contact point is also networked with experts from the health system and has set itself the goal of promoting and anchoring the idea of self-help in the region in order to contribute to a self-help-friendly climate in the district.
