Developing personality, overcoming crises: seminars for women

Train self-confidence, gain charisma, avoid stress or overcome crises: As part of its annual series of events, the Women's Office is organising seminars and information events in October. There are still places available. Registrations are welcome until 19 October.

Information event on separation/divorce on 28 October

When people decide to separate, legal issues inevitably arise that need to be resolved. The lecture by Isabel Detsch, a lawyer from Frankenberg, which will take place on 28 October at 6 p.m. at the Bad Wildungen Women's Counselling Centre (Brunnenstraße 53), includes the legal framework of separation and divorce as well as the first steps of effective crisis management. Early recognition of rights and obligations can help avoid later points of contention and help defuse potential conflicts. The free event will address topics such as child and spousal maintenance, access and custody rights, division of household goods and the marital home, property law disputes and pension equalisation or the course of divorce proceedings.

Workshop "Strong voice - strong in life" on 30 October

The voice is an individual instrument of expression and part of each person's personality. How women can better use their voice - professionally as well as privately - is shown in the one-day seminar that takes place on 30 October from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. at the Harbshausen Sports, Nature and Adventure Camp on Lake Edersee. The workshop, which is organised jointly with the Büro für Staatsbürgerliche Frauenarbeit e.V. (Office for Civic Women's Work), shows how women can train their self-confidence, gain charisma and convey a clear message through more energy and a clear way of speaking in everyday life or at work. The event will be conducted by certified music therapist and alternative practitioner Simone Viviane Plechinger and costs 55 euros including lunch.

Day seminar "Less stress - more energy" on 30 October

Family, job, personal needs: It often takes a lot of energy in everyday life to reconcile all the issues. The day seminar, which will take place on 30 October from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harbshausen sports, nature and adventure camp on Lake Edersee, is aimed at women who want to integrate less stress and more energy as well as mindfulness, health and effective communication more consciously into their lives in the future. It takes place in cooperation with the Büro für Staatsbürgerliche Frauenarbeit e.V. (Office for Civic Women's Work) and costs 55 euros including lunch and is led by mental trainer Kathrin Laborda.
