Next district council meeting will take place on 15 December in Goddelsheim

The last meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg District Council this year will take place on Thursday, 15 December at 2 pm in the multi-purpose hall in Goddelsheim. The Chairman of the District Council, Rainer Hesse, cordially invites all interested parties to attend the public meeting.

First of all, there will be a report on the current refugee situation to inform the district council about the current situation in Waldeck-Frankenberg. The budget discussions for the coming year 2023 will also be introduced: District Administrator Jürgen van der Horst will present and justify the budget statutes and the budget plan to the deputies during the meeting.

Furthermore, the Christmas meeting will once again deal with a possible cooperation offer to the municipalities to recruit young people for the municipal administration and also with the creation of open-space photovoltaic concepts at the municipal level. Other topics will be the reception of refugees in the district, the implementation of a feedback management system in the administration, the shower situation in the district's own sports halls, the reorganisation of economic development and a possible smartphone-based first-aid alert system.

The 20-item agenda also includes the revision of the operating statutes of the Waldeckische Domanialverwaltung and the acquisition of shares in the Zweckverband EWF by the Domanium. Furthermore, the new versions of the statutes on the levying of fees for the implementation of the Hessian Rescue Service Act and the investment guideline of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district and an amendment to the guidelines for the awarding of prizes in recognition of special commitment to monument protection, culture, nature and social affairs will be discussed.

Finally, the deputies will discuss the implementation of a new slaughterhouse offer in the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg and will be informed about the budget execution 2022 for the III quarter on the basis of the financial accounting according to § 28 GemHVO as well as about overbudgeted expenses in the special budget for personnel and pension expenses in the financial year 2022.

The public meeting of the 71 members of the district assembly will take place in Goddelsheim, as the district assembly meeting room in the district hall is currently not available for this purpose.
