District Women's Office invites to events in 2022

Work and career, health and life situations, personality, new beginnings and life planning as well as special events are all on the programme of the calendar of events for women compiled by the district women's office. Karl-Friedrich Frese, first district councillor and head of the women's office since the beginning of the year, presented the diverse offers together with Beate Friedrich, women's representative, and Ute Hetzler, clerk in the women's office.

"We have put together an attractive programme that should have something for everyone," said the First District Commissioner. Whether it is an online seminar on service-oriented communication, information events on separation/divorce or a leisure time for single parents on the island of Sylt, all areas of social life have been taken into account as far as possible. And with the reading by Margot Käßmann on 8 March for International Women's Day, the first event is already fully booked, a clear sign that the district is on the right track with its offer. Negotiations are currently underway to offer the reading a second time earlier in the day.

"Today, further education is an important building block for professional and personal development," added women's representative Beate Friedrich. For this reason, the Women's Office is offering a mix of old and new events in this year's programme, so that every interested woman can find something that suits her. Self-organisation and time management or the art of saying no and at the same time saying yes to oneself are only two of the possibilities for further education. The head of the department and the women's representative jointly called on interested women: "Take your chance, because the key to success lies in developing your skills and strengths.
