Vaccination in the vaccination centres in the district continues

Vaccinations will continue in the new year at the mini-vaccination centres, with which the district is supporting GP practices in the vaccination campaign. It is not necessary to make an appointment. First and second vaccinations as well as third vaccinations are possible.

Vaccination in Korbach from Mondays to Saturdays
For this purpose, the vaccination centre in the small Hauerhalle in Korbach will be open again from 3 January on Mondays to Fridays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, the Moderna vaccine will be administered there. Since, according to the STIKO, people under 30 should only receive the vaccine from BionTech, this vaccine is mainly given to this age group in Korbach on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but of course also to everyone else who wants to be vaccinated.

Child vaccinations from 17 to 20 January
In the third calendar week, only child vaccinations will take place again in Korbach from 17 to 20 January; for all others, the centre will be closed on these four days, so adults can only get vaccinated in Korbach this week on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 January.

Vaccinations also available at other mini-vaccination centres
In Frankenberg, vaccinations with BionTech are available to all from 3 January on Wednesdays from 3 to 7 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm. The centre in Frankenberg is located in the premises in the lower building of the district hospital in Forststraße 9a; access is via the helipad.

In Bad Wildungen, vaccinations are possible on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 3 January: On 5 January from 3 to 7 pm and on 8 January from 9 am to 1 pm still at the Breiter Hagen school. After that, vaccinations will take place until the end of January on 12 and 26 January from 4 to 6 p.m. and on 15 and 29 January from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the family practice Schnaubelt, Ebert, Noll in Brunnenallee 13.

In Bad Arolsen, vaccinations with BionTech are possible again from 8 January - according to current planning, provisionally until 22 January. For this purpose, the community centre in Rathausstraße 3 is always open on Wednesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

All centres offer first, second and booster vaccinations. Anyone who is at least 18 years old and whose basic immunisation was at least three months ago can have a booster. Those who have been vaccinated with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine can receive a booster vaccination after four weeks. First and second vaccinations are also possible at any time.

Have documents ready
The following documents should always be brought to the vaccination: The health insurance card, an identity document and, if possible, the vaccination certificate. Those who have already been vaccinated should also have the documents of their first or second vaccination ready. In addition, the "Information sheet on vaccination against Covid-19 with mRNA vaccine" must be brought along. Furthermore, the "Medical history and consent form for vaccination against Covid-19 with mRNA vaccine" must be brought along. Both documents should be filled out completely if possible.
