District presents annual programme for children, youths & families

Whether mountains or the sea, day trips or camps: This year, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg is once again organising an attractive leisure programme with many highlights for children, young people and families. All events are subject to the applicable Corona rules. Registrations will be accepted from 27 January.

Leisure activities for all
This year, there will again be a mini-vacation with fun and games at the Jugendburg Hessenstein, holiday trips to the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, to Zell am See or skiing in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Whether for children or young people, boys or girls or the whole family: there are suitable offers for every age group and gender. Boys, for example, are welcome to sign up for a short adventure holiday at the Harbshausen sports camp. Girls can take part in a city trip to Paderborn lasting several days. Furthermore, there are self-defence and self-assertion courses. The educational project "Kids do Circus" in the summer in Frankenberg is another highlight.

Register online
You can register for the events online, among other things: At www.landkreis-waldeck-frankenberg.de/veranstaltungen you can select the relevant event and register for it directly. "This makes it easier for us to organise registrations, reduces paperwork and is much simpler and more convenient for the families," agree Matthias Schäfer and his deputy Andreas Greif. "We are expecting a good response again this year and would like to emphasise once more at this point that all events take place under the current Corona rules." This may also mean that individual events may be cancelled due to the pandemic.

Further information on the youth leisure programme is also available online at www-landkreis-waldeck-frankenberg.de/veranstaltungen or from the district's specialist service for sport and youth work on tel. 05631 954-458 or by e-mail: jugendarbeit@lkwafkb.de.
