Info events of the foster child support on 6 July and 20 July

Foster children and adoptions are two important areas of responsibility of the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg as the responsible body for local youth welfare. In order to be able to take care of these two important areas even better, the youth department has had a "foster child support" unit since autumn last year. This foster child service now provides insights into its work and invites you to the information event "Give a foster child a home?" on two dates: on 6 July in Korbach and on 20 July in Schmittlotheim.

Situations arise time and again where parents are temporarily or indefinitely unable to raise, care for and provide for their children in an age-appropriate manner. At the information event, interested parties can find out why this is so, where the children come from and what their perspective is in standby care. In order to establish a special practical reference, two foster parents will report on their experiences.

The free events will take place in compliance with the current Corona rules on Thursday, 6 July from 7 p.m. in the restaurant "Enzian" (Am Berndorfer Tor 3, 34497 Korbach) and on Wednesday, 20 July from 7 p.m. in the country inn "Elsebach" (Schmittlotheim, Im Elsebach 2, 34516 Vöhl).
