Next district council meeting on 23 June in Willingen

The next meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg District Council will take place on Thursday, 23 June 2022, starting at 2 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Willingen Visitor Centre. District Council Chairman Rainer Hesse cordially invites all interested parties to the meeting.

A major question by the Bündnis 90/DIE GRÜNEN parliamentary group deals with the cooperation between the Youth Welfare Office and the schools in the district, another motion by the same parliamentary group deals with the topic of "care". The reactivation of the Upper Eder Valley Railway and the Edersee Railway to Hemfurth/Edersee is the subject of a joint motion by the Bündnis 90/DIE GRÜNEN, FW and FDP parliamentary groups. A motion by the FDP on a fuel supply concept is also on the agenda, as is a resolution by Bündnis 90/DIE GRÜNEN on more road safety at Lake Edersee. The granting of a subsidy of 80,000 euros to the association "Climate-neutral Waldeck-Frankenberg" is the subject of a joint motion by the CDU and SPD.

In addition, the deputies will discuss the final version of the cycle path concept for everyday cycling and the amendment of the budget and the budget statutes for 2022. Furthermore, they will deal with a tour of all shared accommodation for Ukrainian refugees, the election of members to the domanial commission and the association assembly of the Diemelwasserverband Warburg, as well as the 2021 business year of the waste management company.

The public meeting will take place in the Great Hall of the Willingen Visitor Centre as the meeting room in the District Hall is not available.
