District council meeting to be held for the first time again in the district hall on 10 July

The next meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district council will take place on Monday, 10 July, starting at 2 p.m. for the first time in the current electoral period and for the first time in several years, in the meeting room of the district hall in Korbach. The premises, which could not be used for district council meetings in the past years in the wake of the Corona pandemic and refugee care in view of the Ukraine war, are now available again. District Council Chairman Rainer Hesse cordially invites all interested parties to attend the public meeting.

There are a total of 14 items on the agenda. The expansion of the care support point will be the subject of the consultations, as will climate and exercise-friendly schoolyards and the amendment of the guidelines on participation in childcare services at primary schools and in the education and childcare programme "Pact for the Afternoon". Furthermore, the planning for the new building of the primary school Goddelsheim will be presented, a concept for the school location Bad Wildungen will be prepared and the rural development programme will be extended for another five years.

Also under discussion is the amendment of the building supervision fee statutes, an inter-communal energy and heat planning and the further procedure for the possible levying of a hunting tax. The committee is informed about the approval of unbudgeted expenses for health care measures. Finally, First District Councillor Karl-Friedrich Frese receives the certificate of appointment for his next term of office.
