ProBe invites to presentation days on 22 June and 10 July

"We can do something... and we'll show you! - this is the motto of the ProBe career orientation programme, which is unique in Hesse, inviting students to this year's presentation days. On 22 June in Frankenberg (Eder) and Korbach and on 10 July in Bad Wildungen, the participating pupils show what they have produced in the ProBe phase in terms of workpieces and other results. At the same time, they start their search for an apprenticeship place for the year 2024.

Ten secondary schools and special schools in Waldeck-Frankenberg are currently taking part in the programme. For two and a half years, the pupils have the opportunity to orient themselves professionally in various modules accompanied by social education workers. In addition to their school lessons, they visit the workshops of the vocational schools or the training construction yard of the district crafts association once a week for one year. The occupational fields they gain an insight into are diverse: wood technology or business and administration are just as much a part of it as personal hygiene or home economics.

Companies and businesses looking for trainees, as well as parents, local politicians and other interested parties can take a tour of the schools on the presentation days and get to know the various occupational fields and marvel at the workpieces. On 22 June 2023, the vocational schools in Korbach and Bad Arolsen will open their doors at the Kasseler Straße site in Korbach from 2 - 4:15 pm. The Hans Viessmann School in Frankenberg (Eder) also invites you to take a tour on 22 June from 3:30 - 6 pm. In Bad Wildungen, there will be an opportunity to view the presentation pieces on 10 July from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Ense School in Brüder-Grimm-Straße.
