District Council meeting on 15 May: Interested parties cordially invited

The next meeting of the Waldeck-Frankenberg District Council will take place on Monday, 15 May at 2 pm in the Wandelhalle in Bad Wildungen. The Chairman of the District Council, Rainer Hesse, cordially invites all interested parties to attend the public meeting.

There are a total of 13 items on the agenda: For example, in addition to the work of the district's women's office and joint climate-protective heat planning, the agenda will also include the development of a concept for the school situation in the Twistetal municipality for the Berndorf and Twiste locations. Also on the agenda are the topics of gender equality and immigration to Waldeck-Frankenberg. Furthermore, the improvement of the public charging infrastructure for electric vehicles will also be on the agenda.

Also up for discussion is a resolution concerning the freedom of learning materials with regard to mobile digital devices. Furthermore, the deputies will elect two members and deputies of the staff council to the domanial commission. Finally, the district council will be informed about unbudgeted expenses for sports facilities and swimming pools in the 2023 financial year.

The 71 members of the district council will meet in the Wandelhalle in Bad Wildungen, as the district council meeting room in the Korbach district hall is still not available.
