All-day offers

Pakt für den Nachmittag, care at primary schools or all-day schools: The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg offers numerous all-day care options for children and young people. Through all-day programmes, adolescents can be offered a variety of learning opportunities beyond the classroom. Schools, local authorities, clubs, music schools and other institutions work together to provide a comprehensive and attractive offer.

In addition, childcare options are offered at the primary schools in the district in order to take into account the compatibility of family and work. Depending on the type of school and the needs of the school community, they can choose from the different framework offers "Care for the Primary School", "Pact for the Afternoon" and "All-Day Schools". The school authority supports the schools in the implementation of the all-day programmes.

Pact for all-day education

The district offers the education and care programme "Pakt für den Ganztag" (Pact for All-Day Education) in the area of all-day schools. Numerous primary schools are involved. A total of around 1,000 children are currently taking advantage of this offer.

Care at primary schools

The district of Waldeck-Frankenberg offers childcare services at 30 of 38 primary schools and at three special schools in the district. A total of around 1,350 children currently use the existing services.
