Vaccination offer for refugees
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) provides up-to-date information on vaccination protection for refugees in a handout. Among other things, it provides information on how to deal with missing vaccination documents. The RKI also clarifies that vaccinations against Covid-19 only lead to the status of a vaccinated person if the vaccine administered is also licensed in the EU. Consequently, if vaccinations have been carried out with vaccines such as Sputnik V or the vaccines from Sinovac or Sinopharm, a new vaccination series should be carried out with a vaccine approved in the EU.
People who come to the Waldeck-Frankenberg district from Ukraine have the opportunity to be vaccinated against the coronavirus in the mini-vaccination centres. Citizens from Waldeck-Frankenberg who have privately taken in friends or acquaintances from Ukraine are asked to assist in going to the vaccination centre if possible.
