Digitaltag on 18 June: Waldeck-Frankenberg is there again

Digital with each other: this is also the motto of this year's Digitaltag, which will take place nationwide for the second time on 18 June - and with numerous free online offers. Together with many partner organisations from Waldeck-Frankenberg, the district has once again put together a virtual programme and cordially invites you to participate in the digital space.

Whether home office, video conferences or online concerts: Not least due to Corona, the topic of digitalisation continues to be more topical than ever - in everyday life as well as in professional life. The aim of the Digitaltag is to help people use the digital world safely and confidently. Interested parties are cordially invited to get to know technical possibilities, to look behind the scenes and to better understand digitisation processes. Whether concerns, fears, opportunities or challenges: On 18 June, there will be numerous activities throughout Germany that will highlight different aspects of digitalisation and put them up for discussion.

After last year's successful premiere, it is hard to imagine the district without the Digitaltag. Together with the vocational schools in Korbach and Bad Arolsen, the Hans-Viessmann-Schule in Frankenberg, the Kassel Marburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Waldeck-Frankenberg District Trade Association, the Korbach Employment Agency, the Waldeck-Frankenberg Adult Education Centre, the Network for Tolerance, the City of Bad Wildungen, the City of Korbach, the City of Volkmarsen, the Waldeck-Frankenberg Economic Development Agency, the Bad Wildungen Youth Centre, the Hessencampus Waldeck-Frankenberg, DELTA Waldeck-Frankenberg, Sparkasse Waldeck-Frankenberg and ekom21 have put together a digital programme. Through online lectures, digital workshops or short clips, one can easily and comfortably participate in the offers from home.

Whether self-learning unit, learning at a distance, a film portal around professions, language learning units to join in, an apprenticeship exchange and a training atlas, a "career orientation with all the trimmings", a short film on digitalisation in small and medium-sized enterprises, political opinion-forming on the net, a digital citizens' consultation hour, a lecture for all those who want to shop safely online, a mobile meeting in pictures, rethought administrative processes, online radio games evening or digital scavenger hunt, "Stadt | Land | DatenFluss" app, films on the Online Access Act and, in between, sports and relaxation and much more - here everyone can put together their own personal Digitay programme "Digitisation has not just been happening since Corona - and it doesn't stop when the pandemic is over," says District Administrator Dr. Reinhard Kubat. He therefore cordially invites everyone to discover and use the offers of the virtual Digitaltag.
