Administrative offices open to the public again

The administrative offices of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in Korbach, Frankenberg and Dorfitter will be open to the public again from 11 October. In order to be able to deal with requests as quickly as possible, citizens are still asked to make appointments with their case workers before visiting.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the district had only been able to open its administrative offices to a limited extent. With the increasing calming of the infection situation in Waldeck-Frankenberg, the regulations in the administrative offices can also be relaxed a little. Citizens can now come to the administrative offices again during the usual office hours.

"Nevertheless, we would like to ask citizens to continue making appointments with their case workers," emphasises Andreas Mann, office manager of the district. "The appointment system has proven itself over the past months - both for the applicants and for our staff." Applicants can be better advised on matters for which an appointment has been made in advance and can thus be processed much more quickly and in a more targeted manner. "This also reduces waiting times for our citizens.

Appointments can be made by telephone with the contact persons from the respective departments. For the foreigners and transport services, appointments can also be made online - and a suitable time slot can be booked directly with just a few clicks of the mouse. Digital appointments can be made at www.landkreis-waldeck-frankenberg.de/online-termin. The digital appointment system will also be set up for the district's other specialised services in the coming months. Further information on the office hours of the individual specialist services is also available online at www.landkreis-waldeck-frankenberg.de under the heading "Inform & Apply" in the "Specialist Services" section.

Despite the opening, masks are still mandatory in the administrative buildings of the district to protect themselves and also the employees. In addition, the distance and hygiene rules must still be observed for safety reasons.
