New meeting room of the district in Bad Wildungen

The district now has its own meeting room in Bad Wildungen. This solves a problem that arose time and again when, for example, applicants in the building sector or other users of the district's service offer had a need to talk about their projects that could not be clarified by telephone but only by means of personal communication.

The room is located in the EWF building at Laustraße 1, so it is centrally located. "Until now, we had to rely on the city to provide us with a free room," explained First District Councillor and Head of the Building Department Karl Frese. "But the 15 months of the pandemic with its access restrictions to public buildings have shown us that something of our own is simply more advantageous here."

District Administrator Dr. Reinhard Kubat added that in discussions with the EWF management it had become clear that the building in Laustraße offered an opportunity that met our needs. "We are grateful to the EWF, on the one hand because this room was made available to us at short notice and without red tape, and on the other hand because we are allowed to use it rent-free," the district administrator was pleased to say. "There are no additional costs for the district".

The district administrator and the EKB now inspected the room, accompanied by the mayor of the spa town, Ralf Gutheil. The mayor emphasised that the district had always been happy to act as a host, but was nevertheless pleased that the district could now also have its own premises. The two department heads and the mayor agreed that the new meeting room brought an increase in customer proximity and represented a real service offer for the citizens of Bad Wildungen and the surrounding area.
