Only BioNTech is vaccinated in mini-vaccination centres

From now on, only the vaccine of the company BioNTech & Pfizer will be vaccinated in the mini vaccination centres of the district on all open days. It is still not necessary to make an appointment. Vaccinations with the vaccine from Moderna, on the other hand, are now only possible by prior appointment.

Moderna only after registration
If you would like to receive a vaccination with Moderna, you can arrange this individually by e-mail - if you have not already done so - and will then be given free dates. Registrations for this are possible by e-mail to moderna@lkwafkb.de. Anyone who would like to be vaccinated with BioNTech can do so on all opening days of the mini-vaccination centres without making an appointment. All centres offer first, second and booster vaccinations. Booster vaccinations are available to anyone over the age of 12 who has had their basic vaccination at least three months ago.

Korbach on Tuesdays and Thursdays at
Until now, vaccinations were available in the small Hauerhalle in Korbach on every working day. From 7 February until mid-February, vaccinations can be obtained there on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the time being. Whether the opening hours of the centre in Korbach will be changed again will depend on the demand for the vaccinations in the next two weeks and, if necessary, will be communicated accordingly. The district once again calls on people to take advantage of the vaccination offer.

In Frankenberg, vaccinations are still possible on Wednesdays from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the premises in the lower building of the Frankenberg district hospital in Forststraße 9a. Access here is via the helipad. In Bad Arolsen, vaccinations are always held on Wednesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.. In Bad Wildungen, vaccinations are possible on Saturday, 5 February - from 9 am to 1 pm in the station building. On this day, children from the age of five can also be vaccinated here. In addition, child vaccinations are again possible in Korbach on 11 February and 4 March. On these days, parents can once again come with their children to the Korbach vaccination centre in the small Hauerhalle and receive the immunisation.

Keep documents ready
As a rule, the following documents should be brought along for the vaccination: The health insurance card, an identity document and, if possible, the vaccination certificate. Those who have already been vaccinated should also have the documents of their first or second vaccination ready. In addition, the "Information sheet on vaccination against Covid-19 with mRNA vaccine" must be brought along. Furthermore, the "Medical history and consent form for vaccination against Covid-19 with mRNA vaccine" must be brought along. Both documents should be filled out completely if possible.
