Battenberg Health Centre: Commercial space still available

A few weeks ago, the construction of the health centre in Battenberg started. The new building will cost 5.4 million euros and should be ready by the end of 2023. In July, the earthworks started for the building, into which various service providers from the health sector are to move in about a year. In the meantime, the earthworks have been completed and now concrete is to be poured. All those involved are consistently pursuing the goal of keeping to the tight schedule until completion: The three-storey shell is to be completed by the end of this year.

The health centre with around 1600 square metres of floor space will then be available for the occupying parties and will form a new structure for health care in Battenberg. Medical service providers such as a general medical practice, a dental practice, physiotherapy, podiatry and medical supplies as well as the office for the community nurse will then move into the new building between the comprehensive school and the swimming pool car park.

Due to the downsizing of a practice, there is currently still the possibility of renting a commercial space of about 100 square metres on the first floor. If you are interested, please contact the district's health service by e-mail at or by phone at 05631-95444: The health centre in Battenberg is the first of its kind in Waldeck-Frankenberg , according to Karl-Friedrich Frese, the first district councillor, and another is planned in Frankenau.
