District and sports district offer swimming courses for adults
Swimming is not only a popular recreational sport, but can also save lives in an emergency. Most people can swim as a child, but some have not learned to swim at a young age. For them, the district and the sports district jointly offer a swimming course for adults. Registration is possible until 26 October.
From 2 November, the course will take place every Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Goldbad in Korbach. It will be led by Claudia Hermann, who is responsible for the joint swimming projects as an employee of the sports district. Those who take part in the course not only get used to the cool water, but also learn how to overcome fears, breathe correctly and learn the right technique for swimming.
The course itself is free of charge. Only the entrance fee to the swimming pool has to be paid by the participants.
