"Early intervention on the ground: project to be continued in 2023

Last year, as part of the action programme "Catching up with Corona", the federal model project "Mobile Early Help" also started in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district, which was intended to draw more attention to this offer. After visiting Volkmarsen and Willingen in the northern part of the district in 2022, the "Early Help" will now stop in June at two locations in the southern part of the district and near Lake Edersee in the middle of the district.

The kick-off is on 22 June from 12 - 4 p.m. in the municipality of Allendorf (Eder) on the occasion of the Info Day of the local day care centres. The tour vehicle of Early Intervention will stop there in the car park of the municipal administration in Schulstraße 5. The Protestant day care centre Hofstraße 7 in Gemünden (Wohra) invites visitors to explore the services offered during its family festival on 23 June from 1:30 - 5 pm. Finally, on 24 and 25 June from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the town festival in Waldeck-Sachsenhausen, there will be an opportunity to get to know the "Early Help" services at the day care centre, Wildunger Straße 10.

On the outreach days, interested visitors will not only find a vehicle specially equipped for the occasion. They will also receive information on all aspects of early prevention, both in printed form and for digital use, supplemented by activities with fun and games. Health professionals from the outpatient Early Help team of the Youth Service of the Wal-deck-Frankenberg district will accompany the mobile offer on site. All interested parties are cordially invited to visit the tour vehicle.
