District congratulates business development organisation on its 25th anniversary
The district turns 50 this year. The Waldeck-Frankenberg Economic Development Agency turns 25 - and can look back on a quarter of a century of successful work to strengthen and develop the regional economy.
Supporting companies, promoting the region
Since its foundation, it has launched numerous programmes and initiatives to support local companies and sustainably promote the region's economic landscape. In doing so, it has established itself as an indispensable partner for the regional economy, particularly by actively supporting local companies, organising networking and information events, acting as a guide in the funding landscape and providing support in finding and expanding locations.

We are ready to face the challenges ahead and continue to strengthen the regional economy in the long term," emphasise District Administrator Jürgen van der Horst and First District Councillor Karl-Friedrich Frese. "This year, we are not only celebrating the 50th anniversary of the district, but also congratulating the business development organisation on 25 years of outstanding commitment."
