County offers special vaccination events Sept. 13-18

Under the motto #HierWirdGeimpft, the sleeves will be rolled up once again throughout Germany in the coming week to offer spontaneous and uncomplicated vaccinations in many places. Although the Waldeck-Frankenberg vaccination center must close at the end of September following a decision by the state of Hesse, the district still wants to participate in the campaign - and is now offering initial vaccinations again from September 13 to 18.

Short-term visitors can come to the vaccination center on the Hauer in Korbach from 13 to 18 September daily without registration from 2 to 6 p.m. and get immunized. On Monday the 13th and Saturday the 18th, the center opens its doors as early as 8:30 in the morning. "With this special vaccination campaign, we would like to once again give all those willing to be vaccinated the opportunity to quickly and unbureaucratically pick up the vaccination protection," says District Administrator Dr. Reinhard Kubat. "In doing so, we have also paid particular attention to ensuring that the times are employee-friendly and also fit in well for interested schoolchildren." Together with the First District Commissioner and Head of the Health Department, Karl-Friedrich Frese, he once again calls on everyone to take advantage of this low-threshold service.

If possible, you should bring your health insurance card and yellow vaccination certificate with you to the vaccination so that the vaccination can be entered there. The vaccinees will then receive information about the second vaccination appointment on site at the vaccination center.
