Digitaltag on 24 June: Waldeck-Frankenberg is there again

Digital with each other: this is also the motto of this year's Digital Day, which will take place nationwide on 24 June - and with numerous free offers. Together with many partner organisations from Waldeck-Frankenberg, the district has once again put together a varied programme - in attendance at the community centre or online - and cordially invites you to participate this year as well. Those interested can register now.

The goal: to promote digital participation. "All people should be enabled to move confidently and self-determinedly in the digital world," says District Administrator Jürgen van der Horst. "This has also motivated our team and numerous other offices and organisations from the district to organise over 20 contributions in the digital space or presence again this year." The Digitaltag offers a platform to discuss various aspects and challenges and to initiate a broad social dialogue.

Online, hybrid and face-to-face events
The action day is intended to explain digitisation with numerous formats, make it tangible, show ways to digital participation and also create space for controversial debates. It is open to everyone to get involved with their own actions - whether private individuals, associations, companies or the public sector; whether online or locally on site. For the first time, in addition to online and hybrid events, face-to-face events will also take place at the community centre in Korbach. "This is a special concern for us. We want to accompany the people in the district on the path of digitalisation," says the district's digitalisation project manager Nastasia Sluzalek. "Digitisation is no longer going away. It offers great opportunities, but can also cause fears. On Digitaltag, we want to get into conversation with people, answer questions and inform."
