Care support centre offers consultation days in the district

The care support centre of the Waldeck-Frankenberg district is the contact point for people with statutory health insurance for all care issues and provides independent, free and non-binding advice. It is located in a commercial building directly next to Korbach's main railway station (Am Hauptbahnhof) - of course with barrier-free access. On Mondays and Wednesdays, there are open office hours from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. without an appointment. Further appointments can be made by telephone from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays.

Since October 2022, in addition to the office hours at the Korbach main office, there have also been field office hours in Bad Wildungen, Battenberg and Frankenberg. In Bad Wildungen, the branch office of the public health department in Lindenstraße 5-7 is always available for consultation on the third Friday of the month. In Battenberg, the consultations take place every second Friday of the month in the premises of the DRK Senior Citizens' Centre in Burgbergstraße 5 and in Frankenberg always on the first Friday of the month, also in the branch office of the public health department in Bahnhofstraße 17-19.

Exceptions will be announced in good time. The dates are as follows until the end of the year:

  • 4 November 2022 in Frankenberg, 11 November 2022 in Battenberg, 18 November 2022 in Bad Wildungen
  • 2 December 2022 in Frankenberg, 9 December 2022 in Battenberg, 16 November 2022 in Bad Wildungen

Registration is required and can be made up to 48 hours before the appointment by telephone 05631 954-556 or by e-mail pflegestuetzpunkt@lkwafkb.de.
