If your vehicle's licence plates have become damaged or illegible, or if a sticker (stamp sticker or sticker for main or exhaust emission test) has become detached from the licence plate, it is necessary to attach new stickers to the previous licence plates or to newly manufactured licence plates.
NOTE: In the event of theft or loss of the licence plates, they must be re-marked. In any case, report the theft to the police!
Process flow
As the owner, you can usually apply for the stamp informally at the competent vehicle registration authority. You can also appoint a representative with a written power of attorney.
NOTE: To save time, it is advisable to drive up to the registration office, remove the damaged or incomplete licence plate and present it.

NOTE: You can have any new licence plates you may need made after you have submitted your application. To do so, contact the private providers located near the registration authorities. The cost of the plates is not included in the fees.
