Nature Conservation Award
Performance specification
To promote special exemplary commitment in the field of nature conservation and landscape management, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg awards the Nature Conservation Prize every two years as well as a corresponding special prize for young people and youth groups. The award is given to individuals, groups, organisations or associations that have shown special commitment in the field of nature conservation or landscape management and have rendered outstanding services through exemplary behaviour.
The award ceremony will be held in a public ceremony.
Requirements
Proposals may be submitted by individuals, groups of persons, associations, federations or the municipalities. Self-applications are also permitted.
Which documents are required?
An informal proposal expressing the special and exemplary commitment to be honoured may be submitted by 31 May of the respective award year (years with an even final number).
