Whether open office hours for the school community, mediation, dispute resolution and crisis intervention or counselling for parents, teachers, the student body and individual case assistance as well as socio-educational support: the professionals in the district's school social work support school operations at numerous schools in Waldeck-Frankenberg - in close cooperation with complementary specialised services and other institutions.

Since November 2008, school social work and social training has been organised by the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg in cooperation with the State Education Authority for the Schwalm-Eder district and the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg, the respective schools and other independent and municipal providers. It is an offer of youth social work at the school.
Digital parents' evenings
With this service, the district would like to provide parents and interested parties with information about the upbringing of children and young people, family life and everyday school life.
ProBe - Profile development & career orientation
Theory meets practice: The "Profile Development and Careers Orientation" programme, which is unique in Hesse, offers a two-and-a-half-year careers orientation phase for young people in lower and intermediate secondary schools.

Youth with prospects
The project Youth with Perspectives, or JUMP for short, supports pupils, trainees, young adults and migrants with special needs in the transition from school to work.
