Within the framework of school social work, the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg supports the people who work and learn in schools. Whether open office hours for the school community, mediation, dispute resolution and crisis intervention or counselling for parents, teachers, the student body and individual case assistance as well as socio-educational support: the professionals in the district's school social work support school operations at numerous schools in Waldeck-Frankenberg - in close cooperation with complementary specialised services and other institutions.

ProBe - Profile development & career orientation

Theory meets practice: The "Profile Development and Careers Orientation" programme, which is unique in Hesse, offers a two-and-a-half-year careers orientation phase for young people in lower and intermediate secondary schools.


JUMP:
Youth with prospects

The project Youth with Perspectives, or JUMP for short, supports pupils, trainees, young adults and migrants with special needs in the transition from school to work.
