"Strong teams, strong daycare centres" funding programme
Performance specification
The state of Hesse provides funding to strengthen the personnel structure in child day care. Applications can be submitted by day carers to the Youth Department.
Funding is provided for measures in the area of relief potential, health promotion and generally to strengthen child day care in the period from 1 July 2025 to 31 July 2026. The funding amounts to up to €1,000 per day carer.

Process flow
The application can be submitted to the Youth Department. If possible, please submit the application via our digital contact form.
No further documentation is initially required. The utilisation of the funds will be verified after the funding period. Please keep the corresponding proof of payment/invoices for this purpose.
