Waste advice

  • Performance specification

We deal with rubbish every day. And the question always arises: where to put it?
In addition, citizens are always asking themselves how they can save on fees by avoiding waste, collecting certain types of waste separately, composting it themselves or choosing different waste containers.

According to the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act, the public waste management authorities are obliged to provide information and advice on all questions concerning waste disposal to their citizens. In Hesse, the public waste management authorities are the municipalities belonging to the districts, the independent cities and the districts or the special-purpose associations if the task has been assigned to them. You can contact them with your questions.

Note: You can also obtain information there on issuing, returning or exchanging waste containers.
