Apply for a green licence plate for vehicles and trailers
Performance specification
Certain vehicles exempt from motor vehicle tax have licence plates with green lettering and a green border on a white background. These include vehicles belonging to non-profit organisations, agricultural and forestry vehicles and certain trailers.
If the requirements for a green licence plate are no longer met, the competent main customs office may impose a vehicle tax. From this point onwards, the green licence plate is invalid and must be changed to black.
