Have you discovered a damaged traffic sign or a malfunction of a traffic light? Please report this immediately to the local road authorities, stating the exact location (town, street, house number), so that the damage or fault can be repaired and the safety of road traffic is guaranteed.

Hint:
Missing or failed traffic signs can pose an acute danger to road traffic. In such and similar cases where there is an immediate danger and you cannot reach the responsible body for various reasons, it is advisable to inform the police.

The competent road authority is
- for motorways, federal roads (exception: through roads in towns with more than 80,000 inhabitants) and state roads (exception: through roads in municipalities with more than 30,000 inhabitants):

Tip:
In most cases, it is sufficient to report the fault to the city or municipal administration. In any case, they will tell you who is responsible for faults with traffic signs and other traffic facilities.
