Administrative offences in nature conservation law

  • Performance specification

Nature conservation law, in particular the Federal Nature Conservation Act, contains regulations for the protection of nature and landscape. These include species protection and the obligation to obtain permission for interventions in nature and landscape. Violations of protection regulations or the implementation of interventions in nature and landscape without authorisation constitute administrative offences. The prosecution of these administrative offences is generally the responsibility of the Lower Nature Conservation Authority, which is located at the District Committee.
