    If you trade in vertebrate animals, you need a permit. If you trade in species-protected animals, there is also an obligation to register with proof of origin and EC certificate and, in the case of specimens listed in Annex A of EC Regulation 338/97, a marketing permit.

    For the granting of permission according to §11 Animal Welfare Act is required:

    • The amount of the fee shall be based on the commodity value of the copy to be marketed and shall be calculated according to the

    • Administrative Cost Regulations for the Portfolio of the Ministry of the Environment, Climate Protection, Agriculture and Consumer Protection

Who do I need to contact?

Notification and EC certificate:
