EU agricultural direct payments

Direct payments to farms under Common Agricultural Policy support schemes are the result of the 2014 reform of the EU's agricultural policy.

The payment entitlements allocated to the applicant in 2015, together with the farmed agricultural areas, form the basis for the payments.

Direct payments are divided into the basic premium, the greening premium, the redistribution premium and, if the conditions are met, the young farmer premium.
