    For the ongoing maintenance of the Jewish cemeteries and graves, the municipalities are granted annual maintenance lump sums, the use of which is monitored through inspections and secured through protocols.


    Cemetery and burial services

    The establishment or expansion of municipal cemeteries is a matter for the municipalities as a matter of self-government.


    War gravesites

    For the ongoing maintenance of the war graves, the municipalities are granted annual maintenance allowances, the use of which is monitored by the Kassel Regional Council.
