Support programme for the renovation, modernisation and (replacement) construction of indoor and outdoor swimming pools in Hesse (SWIM)
Performance specification
The state programme aims to ensure that modern and sustainable swimming pools are available in Hessen, thus providing extensive opportunities to learn to swim in general, but also to further develop swimming sports in Hessen. To this end, financial support is provided for investment measures for indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Process flow
Projects for which a Land grant is to be applied for must be registered with the HMdIS by the project executing agency before planning begins and an application is submitted.
The registration has to be made by means of the form "Registration" via the district Waldeck-Frankenberg - Fachdienst Sport und Jugendarbeit -.
The possibility of funding takes place in consultation with the district, which submits an annual list of suggestions to the Ministry by 01 November of each year for the following year.
The proposal list shall contain a clear prioritisation of the notified measures. In principle, the proposal list shall be limited to up to five measures per year
Requirements
Hessian districts, cities, municipalities and their public-law companies as well as special-purpose associations are eligible to apply. In addition, non-profit sports associations and clubs or support associations and other non-profit institutions are also eligible to apply.
